When and Why We Meet
The public is welcome to attend the meetings of the general membership or those of the Board of Directors of the Denman Island Memorial Society. Contact us for dates, location and proposed agendas.
General Membership
The general membership meets every January, at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), to hear reports of the Society’s activities over the past year and elect the directors for the coming year. The membership also meets occasionally for an extraordinary general meeting.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meets regularly, at least six times a year, to carry out myriad activities relating to the business of the Society, the operation of the burial ground, fundraising, communications, and other functions. You may contact us for the minutes of past meetings.
